Sanyo is marrying its top specification LCD panel technology with a highly unique design in a range of 23- and 17in. widescreen televisions available in a stunning and unique white pearlescent finish. The 23- and 17-inch widescreen televisions are available in pearlescent or silver, have Active 3D Surround Sound, two SCART sockets and two 5-Watt (RMS) speakers.

Sanyo Electric Corporation called on the expertise of French born Japanese based industrial product designer, Gwenael Nicolas, as inspiration for its new range of contemporary flat panel LCD televisions. The name behind many product design and packaging projects for well known brands such as Tag Heuer, Issey Miyake and Nintendo, Nicolas has applied his craft in this signature range of 23in. and 17in. Sanyo widescreen LCD televisions which will be manufactured in the UK by Sanyo’s TV factory in Lowestoft, Sufflok.

Highly specified, highly portable and highly desirable due to their natural colour these highly specified televisions will prove a desirable addition to any room in the house, from living room to bedroom to kitchen. Complete with a matching white table top stand and white remote control, these models feature a clever carrying handle making them highly portable and easily moved from room to room.

The Nicolas 23in. product features a high contrast ratio of 800:1 - whilst brightness is ensured with a rating level of 550cd/m2. The 17in. panel features a contrast level of 600:1 with a brightness level of 450cd/m2 making them highly specified panels in this screen size category.

The high quality picture is complemented by a host of other features giving enhanced picture and sound quality. Features such as a Digital Comb Filter will enhance the picture by helping to reduce picture ‘noise’ whilst BBE Sound and Active 3D Surround Sound will enhance the sound quality a great feature for music tracks and feature films. The televisions are available in white, and also silver.
