CLO Systems, LLC is pleased to introduce "X-arm™" mount which is a motorized wall mount for flat panel TVs that allows a viewer to adjust the viewing angle of the TV with the convenience of a remote control. Strong yet clean industrial design of X-arm mount compliments the look of plasma or LCD TVs in any room. With a universal mounting kit, X-arm mount's patent pending wall mount can handle just about any large size flat screen TV between 40 inch and 60 inch weighing up to 150 pounds. When the X-arm mount is in a retracted position, the TV is only 4.6 inches from the wall so that all you notice is the TV. The magic, however, happens when the remote control is used to activate X-arm mount which smoothly extends the TV away from the wall, then can swivel the TV from side to side 35º (total swivel movement 70º), and/or tilt the TV up and down 25º (total tilt movement 50º).

As X-arm mount extends the TV from the wall, a bellow extends with the TV to cover X-arm mount's actuators. The bellow not only protects X-arm mount against foreign objects for safety, all of the video and audio wires can be hidden within the bellow between the wall and the TV to give X-arm mount a clean industrial look, as illustrated in the Industrial Design section of this website.

X-arm mount has also been engineered to make installation as easy as 1-2-3, such that installation is no different than installing any other manual wall mount unit currently on the market. First, with a universal mounting kit, X-arm mount can be easily attached to just about any flat screen TVs between 40 inch and 60 inch. Second, a back plate is bolted onto two wooden studs within the wall. Third, the TV with the X-arm mount is then lifted and latched onto the back plate to attach X-arm mount to the wall. With these simple steps, X-arm mount can adjust the viewing angle of the TV with a remote control.

X-arm mount can be controlled through: (1) IR universal remote control; and/or (2) RS-232 port. CLO Systems currently has nine pending-patent applications directed to motorized TV wall mounting units; and we plan to file additional patent applications.

The engineers at CLO Systems designed, and redesigned, X-arm mount to take what was complicated and made it simple as possible with features that have never been offered before in the market place. We estimate that the retail price of X-arm mount will be under $2,000.00, which is much less than the cost of the motorized lifts in the market place today.
