Digital Case Printer

ICONOTECH, a leading supplier of case printing equipment, introduces the OPTIMIZER- HIGH CAPACITY (HC) Case Printer. The OPTIMIZER-HC increases productivity up to four times that of the standard Optimizer, and prints both RSC cases and thinner die cut blanks. Developed for Monkhill Confectionery (a subsidiary of Cadbury) in the United Kingdom, this digital case printer is now available to the North American marketplace.

The new OPTIMIZER-HC features a four-foot infeed magazine accommodating approximately 200 cases or blanks thus increasing operator productivity when the machine is running at its maximum speed of 60 cases per minute. RSC cases and/or die cut blanks are placed in bulk in the vertical feeder at a 15-degree forward angle. A vacuum pick system pulls the lower edge of each front case forward and drops it onto the horizontal feeder, which moves the product to the print cylinder. An operator can quickly empty skid loads of fresh cases to the feeder and refill skids with bundles of printed cases as they are conveyed from the restacker.

The OPTIMIZER-HC employs Iconotech's highly reliable printing technology which uses a computer generated printing stencil to achieve exacting placement of very high-resolution print anywhere within a 32"x11" print area. This rugged, long-lasting, low maintenance printer is designed for ease of use as well as durability and allows manufacturers of multiple SKU's to capture significant savings with generic box printing.
